Biography
Depth Death loves Dub wants to submerge the world in bass.
Originally from Virginia, USA the home of producers Timbaland and the Neptunes, his early musical influences were hip hop and metal. With a background in piano and bass guitar, discovering Jungle in the late 90s was a revelation and led him to begin DJ’ing. He was also involved in the Drum and Bass scene as a promoter, visual artist, flyer designer and magazine designer.
Fast forward to the mid-00s and a change to New York City, he started producing and listening to Dubstep. While studying at Dubspot Electronic Music School, he began DJ’ing in local bars and released music on his label Khybot Recordings.
Depth Death took form as he began to understand the influences of Dub in Drum and Bass and Dubstep; and it is this lineage that is the core of his mixing and production. Currently, he has a weekly DJ show on Sub.FM and is making deep tunes.
